The
Problem
Obesity is virtually
an epidemic in this country, and dietary fat has been singled
out as the enemy. Many people avoid fat in their diet as if
it were the only dietary hazard yet there are now more

Syndrome X affects roughly
40% of the population. Syndrome X is characterized by insulin resistance,
obesity (primarily abdominal), elevated cholesterol and triglycerides,
low HDL cholesterol, high blood pressure, high incidence of diabetes,

Follow a low-fat diet emphasizing

Also avoid carbohydrates that trigger a quick release of insulin,

eight to twelve 8-oz. glasses of pure, filtered water daily. Water

Find a form of aerobic
exercise you enjoy and do it at least three times a week for 20-30
minutes. Besides diet, exercise is the most significant factor in

most people. Work with your physician to set up a plan that's appropriate
for you.
Take 500 mcg of GTF chromium
